No 1st Amendment for our Warriors!Cara Murphey
May 17, 2015 This is so bazaar. The very Men and Women who swear an oath to support and defend the constitution are supposed to give up their constitutional freedoms in order to protect ours. Thank you Soldier for selflessly protecting our access to the first amendment but it does not apply to you. WHAT? The Military Religious Freedom Foundation wants Maj. Gen. Craig Olson to be “aggressively and very visibly brought to justice for his unforgivable crimes and transgressions”. And what horrible crime did he commit? He said publicly at a National Day of Prayer event that he is a “redeemed believer in Christ" . (Story published by World Net Daily May 17, 2015). OMG! Lock him up and throw away the key! While your at it lock up the rest of the 83% of Americans that also criminally confess to being followers of Christ. Myself included. However, the founder of The Military Religious Freedom Foundation, Mikey Weinstein said that Olsons statement is utterly disgusting and shocking and a brutal disgrace to the very uniform he was wearing. Mikey...dude that is hate speech. You are an attorney and should know better! Per a 2010 PEW poll 78.5% of our active US Military members are Christians (and that is after Obama began the Military purge). But over the last two years it has been discover that some of the military training curriculum has declared its own war. A war on Christianity. Material has been discovered and brought to public attention describing Evangelical Christians as extremist, anarchist, terrorist, a threat to national security and enemies of the state. Todd Starnes, a Fox News contributor is one of many who has reported extensively on the Military's attack on Christians. From a piece he wrote on October 23, 2013..."Soldiers attending a pre-deployment briefing at Fort Hood say they were told that evangelical Christians and members of the Tea Party were a threat to the nation and that any soldier donating to those groups would be subjected to punishment under the Uniform Code of Military Justice" and that these groups were “tearing the country apart.” Starnes goes on to tell about a soldier that approached him (off-the-record) admitting that he now fears Military punishment if he is caught going to church and tithing. Who is behind this ridiculous campaign? Who the heck is Satan using to do his bidding? The 2010 Pew poll will probably be the last poll of its kind considering the the military has apparently adopted the "Don't ask, don't tell" position regarding Christianity. This is very sad.
